Camelback daughters support our youth ~ Children of the American Revolution; DAR Good Citizen Award, DAR American History Essay Contests
2020-2021 DAR Good Citizen theme was Our American Heritage and Responsibility for Preserving It. Our chapter winner won 1st place state, and went on to SW Division competition.
2020-2021 American History Essay Contest theme was The Boston Massacre, commemorating the 200th anniversary. Our chapter winner 7th grade took 1st place state, and went onto SW Division competition.
2020-2021 DAR Good Citizen theme was Our American Heritage and Responsibility for Preserving It. Our chapter winner won 1st place state, and went on to SW Division competition.

Camelback daughters provide financial donations to Honor Flight; and have hosted the pre-flight breakfast as well write the cards for the return flight home mail bag
Camelback daughters enjoy historical endeavors; such as attending the re-dedication of Camp Bouse, Bouse, AZ and the Dedication of the Empire Flat Landing Site, Parker, AZ; collecting rare genealogical historical documents and preparing them for the DAR Library; and field trips to Arizona's many historical markers.
Camelback Chapter awarded the DAR Distinguished Citizen Award to Caryn Huffman, RN, CNOR for her role as an Emergency Covid-19 Health Care Responder (2021)
Camelback daughters can be seen participating with other chapters ~ traveling to Veterans Memorial Cemetery at Camp Navajo, to join Coconino, Oak Creek, Yavapai, and General Crook Chapters to attend and participate in the Missing in America Project for Final Interment with Military Honors Ceremonies for unclaimed Veterans.
Camelback Chapter sponsored Women in American History Award winners Marietta Cooper Bryant and Daisy Nelson Moore to the class of 2020-2021 inductees NSDAR.
Camelback Chapter also takes time for fun. Our yearly August Tea is a fresh uplifting social event for members to get to know each other better plus enjoy some great home cooked treats and play games; 2021 theme was Celebrating Our Patriotism
