National Scholarships 

The NSDAR offers scholarships in various areas of study for graduating high school seniors, college students, and graduate students. Applicants are not required to be members of the DAR.

  • American History Essay Contest (fifth-ninth grades)
  • Constitution Week poster contest (all ages)
  • DAR Good Citizens Award and Scholarship Contest (12th grade)
  • Junior American Citizens contest (Pre-K-12th grades)
  • Service for Veterans awards for volunteers who are veterans, youth, or DAR members
